144 golf enthusiasts teed off for charity at the Maritime Tripartite Charity Golf 2005 held at Keppel Club on 9 November 2005 with Mr Yeo Cheow Tong, Minister of Transport as the Guest-of-Honour. Organised jointly by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and the various maritime associations and unions, this event raised more than $170,000 for charity. “We are pleased to select TCS as one of the two charities. Our previous outings with the needy children from TOUCH Children Services have helped us to better understand and appreciate the work of TCS. We can continue to support TCS in whatever ways we can,” said Mr Chua Lian Ho, Chairman of the Organising Committee.
