Crossroads
Divorce Recovery Programme for Women

For many women, a marital break-up can be the most difficult and painful experience in life to manage.

In the Crossroads programme, we believe that you can rise above your circumstances to move from simply coping, to feeling empowered, fulfilled and independent as you discover new inner strengths and external support.

In this programme, we believe that members can come together and be an encouragement to others going through a similar process.

How does the Support Group work?
Each group consists of 6-8 members and meets weekly for 6 sessions for two hours each. In each session, members will receive valuable information about what it means to recover from a divorce and to receive mutual support from one another.
In the support group, we seek to provide a safe environment for members to share their feelings honestly. A trained facilitator will lead the discussion in every session to help the members process the information and use this new insight to face and deal with the challenges ahead of them.

What topics are covered in the sessions?
Three Stages of Divorce
Kinds of Divorce
Guidelines for Recovery
Two Kinds of Marriages
Assuming Responsibilities
Becoming a New Family
Forgiveness
Planning for Yourself and Your Future

If you wish to register for the support group, please contact us at Tel: 63179988 or email familylife@touch.org.sg with your name, address and contact number. Thereafter, we will mail you an application form and will advise you on the details at a later date. Please note that there will be a charge of $50 for 6 sessions to cover the course materials. Kindly make your own child-minding arrangements when you attend the sessions.
